Although I utilized Git and GitHub for the IBM Python course, it was minimal exposure to the tool. I’ve been wanting to build a more solid understanding of Git and GitHub and version control in general, so, I completed a couple of courses to help me do that. First, I started with Learning Git and GitHub and then, since my focus is currently data analytics and data science, I followed that up with GitHub for Data Scientists. I definitely feel a lot less lost now in the Git and GitHub space and I know this foundation will definitely be useful going forward! Again, just like with Python, I need to find ways to keep using these tools regularly in order to build the muscle memory and not need to keep going back to refreshers.
